Your Favorite Celebrities Are Asking: Are You Registered to Vote?

Are you registered to vote?

That's the question hundreds of organizations, volunteers and celebrities will be asking on National Voter Registration Day next Tuesday.

HeadCount.org, a New York-based non-partisan voter registration organization, is one of the many groups involved. Their method of attack for the day, executive director Andy Bernstein tells Mashable, is a star-studded social media campaign involving more than 100 high-profile musicians and actors.

"There's a very direct purpose with this," he says, "and that's simply to get people to register to vote."
