Today Kevin Rose came out in defense of Google Ventures in response to the fracas raised by Paul Graham at Y Combinator accusing Google Ventures of low-balling on valuations and investments. "Nobody's trying to go out and half valuations," he said, unequivocally.He also made a big effort to diffuse the drama that has arisen around the situation. "I have nothing to say bad about Y Combinator. They're producing a lot of great companies," he said today in a fireside chat at TC Disrupt. "But every time information gets spread internally" it can become corrupted, he noted. "Obviously it's an internal email that got leaked. No one is mad at anyone."
