Gunman Posts to Facebook During Denver Hostage Standoff

A gunman holding a RadioShack employee hostage after a robbery attempt gone bad in Denver posted dire Facebook messages during a tense standoff with police, according to news reports.

Police officers responded to a robbery call just before 10 a.m. Friday, according to The Denver Channel, Denver's ABC News affiliate. Shots were fired near the intersection of Glencoe Street and Colfax Avenue, and scanner traffic reported two gunmen in masks holding at least one person hostage inside the RadioShack store.
