One Direction Wins Most-Share Worthy Video at VMAs

Boy band One Direction on Thursday night won the MTV Video Music Awards moonman for Most-Share Worthy Video, which pay homage to video parodies, lip-dubs, remixes and covers.

Fans voted more than 50 million times for the nominees using Twitter hashtags and got to see what was winning in real time, creating a heated competition. One Directions What Makes You Beautiful just edged out Justin Biebers Boyfriend. Others vying for the crown were Carly Rae Jepsens Call Me Maybe, Gotyes Somebody That I Used to Know and Beyonces Countdown."
