LinkedIn Revamps Apps for Smartphones, iPads as Mobile Users Grow [PICS]

LinkedIn debuted new mobile features for its iPhone, Android and iPad apps on Wednesday.

The professional social network announced the changes in a blog post written by mobile product head Joff Redfern.

Android and iPhone users can now get notified in real-time when they accept invitations, and when someone views their profile or likes what they share, Redfern writes.

He adds that company pages have gone mobile, so members can see which of their connections work at the companies they follow, monitor recent news and updates from those companies, and learn about current job openings. LinkedIn users can also access job listings within their mobile update stream.
