Wearable POV action cameras, and the intense, first-person videos they produce, grow more popular every day. Now one of the pioneers in white-knuckle videography is getting a social media and mobility update.

Contour, Inc. unveiled the Contour+2 Wednesday, its latest HD, wearable POV camera. The device offers Facebook integration and iPhone-based remote control capabilities.

Contour has come a long way since it launched the 640x480 Vholdr in 2008. Todays Contour+2 head-mounted camera shoots in 1080p and can suck in 120 frames per second for 480p action slo-mo action.
