Muses Madness Shows Slow-Motion Kiss Amid Riot


"Madness," Muse's first music video for its forthcoming The 2nd Law album, hit YouTube on Wednesday.

The subdued video follows a woman as she wanders through a calm, then raucous, atmosphere -- at one point stopping amid a slow-motion riot to kiss what appears to be stalkerrific stranger.

The intense embrace amid the rioters and police reminds us of this photo from the Vancouver Riots of 2011:

Muse's "Madness" comes on the heels of the English rock band's high-profile inclusion in the International Olympic Committee's music video for the London Olympics this summer. That video used Muse's "Survival." The band also performed during the Olympic Closing Ceremony.
