Sony Vaio Duo 11 Wants to Be Your Tablet, Ultrabook and Note Pad

Watch out, Surface Pro. Sony has its own Windows 8 hybrid in the works.

The company announced on Wednesday the Vaio Duo 11 -- part Ultrabook, part tablet. The concept is not unusual; many companies are readying hybrids for the release of Windows 8. What makes the Duo 11 more unique is that it supports a pressure-sensitive digital stylus.

Sony says users can swap the tips on the stylus to differentiate between a softer or firmer feel. The Duo 11 also supports handwriting recognition in support apps.
