James Franco Is the New Spokesman for the Samsung Galaxy 10.1

Actor/student/author/you-name-it James Franco has taken time out of his busy schedule to become the first spokesman for Samsung's Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet.

Franco rattles off his impressive list of accomplishments in this ad, which he also directs. The spot showcases Franco's various facilities in mathematics, medicine and pillow-fighting with nubile young women. It appears that he can do just about everything. But can he sell tablets? We'll see.

Samsung introduced its would-be iPad slayer last week in the U.S. The product is now hitting retail. Franco, meanwhile, added product spokesman to his resume in 2008 with ads promoting Gucci Pour Homme (see below).
