HomeSnap Maker Raises $3.5M For Real Estate App That Uses iPhone Camera To See The House In Front Of You
Sawbuck Realty, the makers of that clever mobile app calledHomeSnap, which lets users access MLS and public record data just by taking a picture of any U.S. home, has closed on $3.5 million in additional funding, the company announced today. The financing comes from Revolution Ventures and Washington D.C. real estate investor Robert Stewart.Sawbuck already had $4 million in previous funding ($2 million announced in March, and other $2 million from 2009), but to be clear, the company offers more than just a mobile app - it also operates a real estate website with over a million uniques per month, and has created a large database which blends property records, MLS data and more.Original Link: http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/Techcrunch/~3/gWHsdGXe1oQ/
