We love movies. We especially love movies featuring nonexistent technology, innovative science, fancy gadgets, modified cars and robots. Lots and lots of robots.

Fortunately for us, the big studios give us a healthy dose every summer. But combining original concepts and great writing can get complicated -- movies often draw on the plot twists, locations and, of course, characters of previous works.
