Dark Knight Composer Releases Aurora Charity Song Online

Hans Zimmer, the composer for The Dark Knight Rises, has released a new composition called "Aurora" dedicated to "those who lost their lives and were affected by the tragedy in Aurora, Colorado." All of the proceeds from the song will go to victim relief organizations.

Zimmer posted a link to purchase the composition on his Facebook page. In seconds, the post had generated hundreds of likes (the count now stands at over 3,000) and the servers to the music site were overloaded for more than half an hour.

Zimmer writes,

"I recorded this song in London in the days following the tragedy as a heartfelt tribute to the victims and their families. 100% of the proceeds will be donate…
