Jessica Ghawi, Theater Shooting Victim, Escaped Shooting Last Month

Unofficial reports on Twitter have given a name to one of the 12 victims of Friday morning's shooting at a Dark Knight premiere in Aurora, Colo.

Jessica Ghawi was reportedly an aspiring sportscaster with an active online presence. She also narrowly escaped a similar catastrophe in a Toronto shopping mall in early June, according to her blog.

Friends, colleagues and those who never met Ghawi in person confirmed her death and sent their emotion-laden condolences via Twitter early Friday morning. Mashable is still awaiting confirmation of victims from the Aurora Police Department.
