Google Doodle The Kiss

The latest Google Doodle celebrates Austrian painter Gustav Klimt's 150th birthday on Saturday with a glided doodle featuring one of the world's most famous images of endearment.

"The Kiss," painted around 1907, is front and center in this Google Doodle, with the huddled couple hovering over the "G" and "L" in Google.

The original oil and gold leaf creation is a representative sample of the work of the art nouveau painter -- Klimt was known for themes of sexuality, regeneration, love and death.
