Penny Arcade Raises $200,000 in Two Days on Kickstarter




Looks like popular web comic Penny Arcade, which pledged on Kickstarter to remove ads for a year if it manages to raise $250,000, will meet its goal far quicker than anticipated.

The campaign, which started Tuesday, asked for at least $250,000 in donations by August 15. Less than two days later, and "Penny Arcade Sells Out" -- the official name of the Kickstarter project -- has already raised $196,000 from over 2,780 backers.
