More Than a Quarter of Teens Sext [STUDY]

More than a quarter of teens have shared shared naked pictures of themselves through text or email, according to a new study. About 31% of teens have asked someone for a "sext."

Teen sexting is prevalent among today's adolescents, according to research published in the July 2012 issue of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine.

Nearly 1,000 high school students from seven public schools in southeast Texas were surveyed. Behaviors were self reported. Around 28% of 948 high school students admitted to "having sent a naked picture of themselves."
