Shazam Partners With NBC to Take on the Olympics




Music-identification service Shazam will reach more eyeballs than ever this summer when the UK-based company's logo will frequently appear on screen during the London Olympics broadcasts.

In a partnership with NBCUniversal, Shazam will encourage viewers to use its free mobile app to see event schedules, medal counts, athletes' bios, news and photos, as well as to vote in polls, participate in social media discussions and download NBC Olympics apps. Shazam will be featured on several NBC stations, including NBC, MSNBC, NBCSN, Bravo and CNBC.
