6 One-String Guitars Make Beautiful Music

Doing strange things to guitars is totally in this year.

First, we had Walk Off the Earth's five band members all playing one guitar for their viral cover of Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know."

And today, singer-songwriter Kelley James unleashed a music video for "Summertime on my Mind" in which six dudes each play a one-string guitar.

"It's not that we aren't fans of a good singer in front of a camera singing; it is that we are trying to put some substance behind our videos," the clip's co-producer Greg Baroth of The Beehive tells Mashable. "Creativity helps keep things interesting."
