Gmail Themes to Get a Custom Makeover

Your Gmail inbox is about to get a new customized look.

Gmail themes arent anything new. The service has allowed inbox personalization since 2008, but now that customization is getting a little more advanced, allowing you to upload your own images to the service on either a light or dark background to give your inbox a more personal touch.

Images can be added from your Google+ photos, or you can paste any image URL into Gmail to make it your background. Google will also offer a searchable Featured Photos section where you can check out some shots that might give your inbox the look you want.
