Egypt: People and Technology Change a Nation




Egypt has been in tremendous flux since citizens began protesting the decades-long rule of ex-President Hosni Mubarak. Late Tuesday afternoon, Egyptian state media, followed by U.S. news sources, reported that Mubarak was clinically dead.

His reported death brings renewed global attention to the ever-changing narrative of Egypt's revolution. The Internet and social media played a key role in the Egyptian uprising -- many Egyptians turned to services such as Twitter to organize protests.
