FunnyJunk Lawyer Sues Charities Involved in Oatmeal Lawsuit

FunnyJunk's attorney Charles Carreon has included the charities and campaign host Indiegogo to the list of parties involved in the Oatmeal-versus-FunnyJunk lawsuit.

The Oatmeal, created and run by comic artist Matthew Inman, responded to a public serving last week by launching a "BearLove Good. Cancer Bad." campaign on Indiegogo that's raised more than $182,000 as of this writing.

The original lawsuit demanded Inman pay FunnyJunk $20,000 in public defamation damages. Inman's attorney, Venkat Balasubramani sent a more traditional response to Carreon.
