Tumblr To Launch Updated iPhone App

Speaking at a F.ounders event Friday Tumblr CEO David Karp announced that the company will be releasing an updated iOS app next week.

While Tumblr currently has an iPhone app available, Karp made it sound as though the new version would be a complete overhaul of the product.

Following in the footsteps of its current Android app, the Tumblr iOS app will offer a number of the features currently available on Tumblr, while customizing that experience specifically for a mobile environment.
