Millions Tune in to MLG Anaheim eSports Competition
Major League Gaming, one of the largest companies devoted to livestreaming professional gaming, announced its latest eSports tournament shattered viewership records, with more than 4.7 million unique online viewers tuning in for the three-day event.
A long-time passion of gamers in South Korea and Europe, pro-gaming has been steadily on the rise here in the U.S. with games like StarCraft II and League of Legends pushing the sport's popularity.
