Moving? Let This App Get Estimates for You

Nothing can make moving fun, but a new site called Moveline aims to at least make it easier.

The site, which launches Thursday, does the moving-method price comparison for you. It shows you about how much it will cost for a full-service moving company, container, freight service or truck rental to move your stuff.

This is no easy task. When you call a full-service mover for an estimate, they usually send someone to your home to tally up each mattress, chair and other possession. Estimating it yourself requires accurately answering questions such as, "How many boxes do you think would hold everything you own?"
