Kinect-Enabled Ads Let You Interact by Waving Your Hands




Microsoft is rolling out a new ad platform for Xbox Live this fall that will let viewers interact by waving their hands or shouting at their TVs.

NUads, which Microsoft had teased at last year's Cannes International Advertising Festival, will go live with ads from Samsung, Toyota and Unilever. As the video above shows, Toyota is using the technology to add a multiple-choice component to its 2012 "Fantasy" Super Bowl ad. Likewise, an ad for Uniliver's Lynx brand lets viewers answer questions like, "Should we give the Lynx effect to girls?"
