Egyptian Court Dissolves Parliament, Sparks Chaos, Coup Accusations




Egypt's Supreme Constitutional Court sparked a new wave of chaos and disorder in the country on Thursday by dissolving Parliament and giving a green light to the presidential aspirations of ousted president Hosnai Mubark's former prime minister.

News of the decision quickly spread via social media, which protesters first used to organize anti-Mubarak protests, and has since become an integral part of turmoil in Egypt and across the Middle East. Some protests and demonstrations have been spotted in the capital of Cairo, but they haven't yet reached the scale seen before Mubarak was overthrown.
