Google Swallows Up QuickOffice
Google has acquired QuickOffice, maker of mobile productivity software. The company’s software will be integrated into Google Apps, enhancing their functionality and compatibility.In a blog post, Google says it decided to buy QuickOffice because it has an established track record of enabling interoperability of popular file formats.
