Identified this morning launched its eponymous search engine for professionals, hoping to challenge the likes of BranchOut and LinkedIn by leveraging Facebook's vast database of information about people. The company, which has raised $5.5 million in seed funding from Tim and Bill Draper, Eric Schmidt's Innovation Endeavors, DST partner Alexander Tamas, Facebook's Chamath Palihapitiya and other angel investors, was originally founded by two Stanford Graduate School of Business grads last year.
