Iran: Blogger Hossein Derakshan's appeal denied for 19.5 year prison sentence
A court in Iran has denied Canadian/Iranian blogger Hossein Derakshan's latest appeal of his 19.5 imprisonment sentence. In 2010, he was charged and convicted of "conspiring with hostile governments, disseminating anti-Islamic propaganda, disseminating anti-revolutionary propaganda, blasphemy, annd operating and managing obscene pornography websites."
