Google privacy event in London, May 18

Runa sez, "Privacy International, Google and Index on Censorship are hosting a privacy and free speech event in London on May 18. Keynote speakers include Google's Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt and Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP, Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport." Join us on 18 May for a one-off opportunity to debate some of the big issues facing the Internet today: What was the role of technology in the revolutions in the Middle East and what are the limits of free speech online? Do we need tougher privacy laws, or are we in danger of stifling innovation? Can technology and access to information be used to help prevent conflict? We look forward to welcoming Google's Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt and Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP, Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport to the Big Tent as keynote speakers. We are particularly excited to be announcing an exclusive interview with Wael Ghonim conducted by Jon Snow of Channel 4 News. Big Tent: 18 May 2011 (Thanks, Runa!)...
