Spectrum-style retrogames
A popular fashion in indie gaming is the graphical style of the Sinclair Spectrum computer (enormously popular in the UK in the early 1980s and sold in the US as the Timex Sinclair), whose peculiar limitations forced a certain discipline on programmers and artists.
